Dear all,
Ißm using Netremote and Media Center
In all ccf files we have the possibility to search with mp.searchstring / search MP.searchstring.
The command search through all media. I want to have the possibility to search just for Audio, not for Video. or vice versa ??
Is this possible, and how ???
Thanks for investigating your time

This is a wild guess, but it may work if you set the library root to Media Library\Audio (or whatever you call the view that only shows audio files). I haven't tested it myself, though.

No other ideas.
Is there any possibility to program/define the search ??
Thanks

Setting the media library root works for me.

I tried it, but...
in lib it works, it starts from the media library path i defined.
But still, the search goes through all Mediaīs . What do i wrong ???.
If this works, is it possible to change the media root on the fly / by parameter.
I want to define a search for video and a search for audio
Thanks to all.

Toybd,
What is your directory structure.
My JRMC is setup like this:
Media Library/Audio/Music
and
Media Library/Video
If that does not work, you might try and figure out what JRMC field Netremote is using to select the Video during the search. Then go to JRMC and edit the Library Field and disable the "default search" box.

That's OK for the Audio search but it means he'll never be able to search for Video

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. I was merely pointing out that you had asked to be able to search for Audio and Video separately but this solution would not work. I think this would need Ben to introduce a new feature into NR in 1.1 or later. I'll dip out of this conversation now.
