Hey all,

I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything specific to my card or anything that worked, so please forgive me if it HAS been answered. Just point me to the post. TIA.

Anywase, I have a TView 99 video capture card with remote control. It's a BT878, CH060 card. I have tried using a few different drivers for the card, all of which work fine for video and sound, but can't seem to get the remote to work. I am currently using the XP drivers from Aver (avertv2k.dll) and the remote does somewhat work now, but with one small exception - it's totally backwords

It is constantly thinking it is recieving a signal, and when you DO send a signal, then the light just turns green for about 50ms, as if it wasn't recieving anything. So it's totally backwords. I'm wonder if anyone else has managed to get this card to work with the remote?

Here are the stats:
TView99, BT878, CH060 (not FM)
Remote Control, IR sensor attached to card.
Windows XP
QDI Motherboard, Celeron 633
256 MB RAM
Using DScaler as the front end. TView2000 software just does not run right in XP.

If you need any other information, just ask and I will supply.

Thanks again in advance.

With AverTV Studio remote I get the same problem if Aver's remote application "QuickTV" isn't running. The only problem with QuickTV running is a few of my buttons aren't usable as it will respond to them too, and open Aver's TV viewing software. But it is the only way I can get the remote to work correctly.

do a search for "aver" in thisform. it will give you 3-4 result and someone has just posted a driver that will help you.
