Plugin for USB IRDA Adapter

I need a Girder plugin for a new USB IRDA Adapter.
This adapter are using Sigmatel 4200 I.C.
I cannot upload the original driver because the file is too big.

I have only the original driver, about Girder says I need a modified one.

I don't understand why you need a Girder plugin for this.

It is NOT a consumer IR receiver. It will NOT work with a remote control.

What does it have to do with Girder?

It IS possible to use the old irDA plugin if you have a pda/smartphone and the right software. Please put the link to this plugin back up or fix it for version 4. I am very sorry for double posting but the post I did in the girder 3.3 forum was supposed to be in here. I am using version 4.

I have managed to get the source for the old irDA plugin. Can anyone out there build this for me?........How about someone who could modify it to be used on USB - irDA adaptors?
