Hi there!

I built (with help from my father) the IR-reciever from the c´t magazine.

I tasted winlirc short, but it didn´t work and i gave it up fast.
Then I tried Windows Infrared Reciever, it´s a good programm, because you can press your button ten times, and then you assign a code to a button id. With this, and the winlirc-winamp plugin, I´m able to controll Winamp, but not every signal(not every time when i press a button on my RCunit) is recieved from the Wirr-programm. Then I found Girder, and tried it: i press learn, i can press a button or not on my RC it´s always " captured ir-signal", but when i want to use the command, girder doesn´t recieve a signal!(the icon doesn´t flash, and nothing happens)

So i want to know the reason.

Do I have to run Wirr with Girder ??
Could it be a hardware defect(of the OR-reciever) if it recieves not every signal ( i think it recieves 10 %, i mean 10 % it´s a signal which Wirr can handle, mostly it´s a ERROR: Synchronization failed)

what else can i try??
do you have same problems, or does everyone recieve every signal?

i would be very happy if you can help me
