Yes, I try it. The fuctionality is similar to Girder but:
1. Grider is freeware and PC Remote is shareware
2. Girder has great support but author of PC Remote do not respond to mails
3. Version 4.0 beta is available form half a year - see Girder versions
4. See how many peoples write plugins for Girder

Yeah I tried it before back when Girder was just getting started. I also registered it because back then it was further along then Girder. I used it for about 8 months to a year before I switched to Girder. The main reason I switched is because the author of PC Remote Control would never respond to my request to fix bugs in the software. In comparing the 2 programs, Girder seems more stable and more responsive that PC Remote Control. Girder has more features (now) and is updated MUCH more often. Girder seems to have many loyal followers (this message board is proof enough of that). PC Remote Control had a neat feature that you can come close to simulating with Girder that I used alot: It automatically would switch command groups when an application was set to the forground. Girder can get close to this with the TaskSwitch plugin, but for me it sometimes doesn't work exactly right (but YMMV). Of course it doesn't hurt that Girder is free (although if Ron asked for compensation, I would be more than willing to support him). Anyway, PC Remote Control isn't a bad program, Girder is just better IMHO. Hope this helps.

anyone tried this software as opposed to girder? i haven't checked it out, but it looks to be something along the same lines as girder. i was just wondering if anyone has checked it out...

using girder i don't see how anything could possibly be better, but i am planning on using girder for my car mp3 system and i just want to make sure that i'm using the best software there is. so if anyone out there has used this, i would appreciate your feedback on its functionality compared to girder...thanks!
