Yesterday I received my new computer. Instantly I installed Girder and WinLirc. First of all WinLirc wont work. But there was a workaround by running it in Win98-compatibility-mode. After teaching WinLirc my remotes I started Girder just to find out that Girder can't control my system. None of my applications started (e. g. Winamp, Mediaplayer) and Girder hung. What's the problem? I also run Girder on a P1 200MHz under Win98 and it works fine (except the fact that this machine simply is too slow to handle the WinLirc client properly).
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem?
