Hi,
I've had a similar problem to control WinDVBlive and the only way to solve it was with Magic Macro. http://www.iolo.com/macromagic/welcome.htm .This program lets you record mouse movements which you can activate with a hotkey via Girder. It's not the ideal solution, but it works.

Any way to select 2nd language in WinDVBlive with AMM ?? Tried it tonight, but no luck. Learned yesterday there will be NO HOTKEY support in the future for WinDVBlive.

I won't give up! Is there any mouse plugin that will let me assign a button to "click and drag" and then press it again (or another button) to release the drag?
Hope somebody can help me! It's the one feature I need to complete the control of my HTPC.

Hello, Bulgaria! I was in Sofia half a year ago. Great town, great beer, great climate!
Thanks, I'll try that. I actually have got the plugin, but I didn't know it could do that. I need to have another look at it. I didn't find any "click and drag"-command, but it is probably just named in a way that fooled me.

OK, now I've tried to look at the Advanced Mouse Event. But it seems like it can only do a pre-defined or recordet click and drag. What I need is to be able to for instance mark a different part of the desktop, with different icons, just by locking the left mouse button and then move the mouse with MouseAccel or something else. That's not possible with AME, is it?

Bingo! I'm pretty slow sometimes, but I got it working now. Thanks! btw I was impressed with the selections of AV-gear and computers, I sort of thought Bulgaria would be a tad behind Norway, but no, no.

Of course there is such plugin - Advanced Mouse Event plugin that could be found on the in download section of this site. You can also use it with Mouse Accel and this will give you very good mouse control.

Yes it's nice here.
Of course it's posible. You simply add a command go to the plugins tab select the Advanced Mouse Event Plugin (which you enabled in the girder settigns) and then in the "Mouse event" groupbox select "click", in the "Mouse button" select the desired button and then in the "Event phase(s) to do" select "button down only". Do the same for another command (or make a MultiGroup with only two commands) and select "button up only".
I did this and used the Mouse Accel plugin and I have pretty good mouse control
have luck
