I noticed that too, I made a change to the volume stuff to support registers and the toggle functionality broke. Maybe you can figure something out with registers or states to make it toggle again ? .... In the mean time i'll look into unbreaking this feature.

I have no problems using 'Volume mute toggle' on 3.0.24final. Running in win2k sp2 with sbaudigy.

There is a new way of using the Toggle Mute command or atleast I found a way that works perfect for me and my SB Live! 5.1 Player.
If you wish to use only one button for mute and unmute then you make a MultiGroup command with only two commands MuteON and MuteOff then for both you select the Toggle Mute Command and the proper VolumeID and set the StepSize to 1 for MuteON and StepSize = 0 for MuteOFF. In this way you have to be able to have a global Mute Command.
Have luck

tomcat, have you read the help about mutligroups? if not better you do it.
You have to make the state count for both items in the multigroup = 2 and the begin state for MuteON = 1 and for MuteOFF = 2

I've been really pleased with Girder, and have gotten it to work with all the applications I needed. I have one last thing left.
I want to create a universal mute toggle button on my remote.
When I create a new command with the "Volume Mute Toggle" action selected from "O.S." tab, things don't quite work. Instead of muting the master audio, girder lowers the level to 0, and does not toggle back to "mute off" mode if the command is run again. Is that what's supposed to happen? If that is the proper functionality, how can I create a true mute toggle command? I am using girder 3.0.24 in win2k, soundcard is yamaha ds-xg.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Thanks for the help!
Mitko, thanks to your instuructions I am able to mute, or unmute, however I haven't been able to do both with the same button. Girder seems to execute whichever option is last in the multigroup, not toggle between on/off states. Do you have a tip on how can I get it to toggle?

Hmm doesn't seem to work for me, probably because of the different versions (I am using 3.0.24 final) oh well, I have it working with two buttons, not so bad. Thanks for your help

mitko, thanks again, you're right, I should have read the help.. everything is working now, with one button mute toggle. I really appreciate you helping me out, from now I'll make sure to look at help first.

I'm running Girder 3.0.24pre3 with a Live! 5.1 oem and it seems to work fine. It doesn't work until I hit volume and browse to:
SB Live! Wave Device
+play control
_+mastercontrols
__+Play Mute
