I am trying to configure the serial plug-in so I can use girder to send commands to my Electrohome Marquee 8000 projector. I have some documents from Electrohome that detail the binary commands in hex format, but I can't seem to get Girder to trigger my projector.
I know I have the RS-232 cable connected properly, because I have another application that can act as a librarian for the projector settings and that is working fine.
I admit I'm new to using binary/hex commands and setting up RS-232 devices, so perhaps there is something simple I'm missing.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
