I am using the USB UIRT with Girder. Is it possible to convert a CCF file to a GML to be used in Girder. I saw a utility on the Tira website that does this, but it does not seem to work with the USB-UIRT.

Thanks in advance

Rob

No, it is not. The Only way you could do it is to manually setup the commands from your ccf into girder. If that is what you want to acheive?

OK. That being said. I also own a Tira. Do you have any experience with the Tira and if so do you know if the CCF to GML Utility on the Tira website actually takes a CCF file concerts it to a GML containing all of the IR codes. I may give this a try later, but I have to pull my system out of the cabinate to plug in the Tira.

I've been trying to convert and use some CCF's with a Tira2 and their CCF-GML converterfor 3 days. Girder crashes everytime I run one of the commands in the newly created GML file. I have a friend with the same setup who tried to convert the CCF's for me and he had the same results. There has been other CCF files, however, that he has converted and do run succesfully in Girder with the Tira2 plugin. So I guess it's kind of hit or miss.

There was mention of manually setting up CCF IR Commands into Girder. How do you do this. I've been trying for a week now to put some IR commands for my Barco projector into GIrder. I have both a Tira2 and a USB-UIRT and have been unsucessful in learning any Barco codes with these devices. (I did get one command to work using the UIRT but it took forever and I don't know what I did to get it to work).

If anyone has any ideas on how to best accomplish this I 'd appreciate it. I guess my other option would be to run a serial cable to the projector. Serial cable control would be something new for me.

Thanks,
John

I'm experiencing the excact same issues as you. Girder crashes every time I run any command in the GML. I installed the latest driver and plug in. Still no go, same issue. What gives?

Looks like you will have to do it the old fashioned way...
