Hi there,
I've just installed the trial version ofGirder 3.3.5. I haven't use it before and I try to understand how it works. I think it is a great piece of software, but I have a problem. I've loaded the Generic Serial Support 3.0.18 plugin but it does not recognise my Com ports. In Settings/Device drop down menu I have only No Port. What am i doing wrong? There is no other devices/drivers connected to the serial ports and I have 2 ports onboard and 2 on a PCI serial card. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Can you check and make sure they are listed in the device page of the control panel?

Also, what version of Windows are you using?

I found the problem. I am using Win XP. I was trying Girder on my work computer and I wasn't logged as admin. Interesting! I installed Girder without beeing an admin, no problem with that, but the serial plugin works only if I am admin. Is the OS or the plugin?
Thanks.
