View Full Version : Possible to stop Girder from jumping to all commands it gets

I thought "Don't send the IR commands when Girder is the Foreground window" (File->Settings->General (tab)) used to prevent this from happening but it appears it still jumps to the command but doesn't execute it--probably won't be of much help to you.
However, have you tried disabling input devices by pressing <F9>? This should allow you to edit you Girder file without having the selection jump around all over the place. Once you're done, simply enable the devices by pressing <F9> again.

Sorry--I guess I misunderstood what it was you were trying to do. I can't think of a solution to your problem I'm afraid

Hi mastiff,
the only way to do this seems to be to deactivate the window, just click on the desktop....

In the Girder-window it's impossible to work with commands since the focus jumps to "mouse down" every time I move the mouse or "left click" when I click on something. Is there a way to turn this off?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Thanks, but that doesn't help. I want to be able to input text via my remote, rename commands and stuff. Every time I try, the focus jumps to the button I press on the remote, instead of giving me an A or whatever in the name of the Girder command I'm editing...

Sorry, but you don't understand. If I disable the devices, I can't use the remote with MouseAccel to chose commands to edit and Keyselecter to write what I want changed.
