Anybody knows how to get Girder to show the name of the song when I press the 'NEXT' button whit 'OSD Plug-in' or some other plug-in

Sure you can. Just download DVDSpy, install the DVDSpy winamp plugin and look in the example. Post another msg if you're still having trouble working it out.

Well, the first thing we'll need to know is wether or not you see your Girder traybar icon flash every second while playing a song in winamp.
Are you sure you've enabled the DVDSpy hardware plugin from within Girder?

Also, a very simple diagnosis of wether or no you have successfully installed the DVDSpy Winamp plug-in is to go in Winamp to Options->Prefrences->PlugIns->General Purpose and makes sure "Girder / DVDSpy plugin" is in there.

That's pretty easy to do - you need only two seperate commands, one that will save the Winamp Title string value for you every time it changes (on Winamp.Title events), and a second one that will display this value when you want it to.
I've made the DVDSpy Information Getter (DVDSpy Script) exactly for people like you - it gathers all of DVDSpy's incoming values into meaningfully named variables in Girder, and clears them off when you exit your program. You can see how it works very easily - load the group into Girder, go inside the View Variables (F10) window, and start Winamp, and you should see the variables appear there. There is also an example of how to show Winamp's values in OSD included.

I don't know is someone else has but I haven't got this to work. Nothing is displayed. Any ideas? I've checked the installation of DVDSpy many times and can't see anything wrong. I also made a command just like described in the info file. Still nothing. Doesn't work with 3.12e?

Ha. I figured it out almost by myself. Good thing I read the post about starting Girder first and then Winamp. Now I can see elapsed time in the middle of my screen. A good start. Then I just have to make it show the song title when I press some button. How's that done? :D

way hay, been trying to figure out how to do this with Winamp itself. But can now use Girder.
DVD Spy probably isn't the best name tho.... :D
