Problem With monitor power saving

when monitor power savings turns my monitor off y can't seem to get it back on.
ive tried the monitor on function (under O.S.)and keyboard strokes and mouse movements but they don;t turn the monitor back on.
Only REAL keystrokes or mouse movements will.
Im using a serial remote

Any Help or suggestions?

I think i;ts a windows bug, if i reset my machne comands from girder sucsessfully powers the monitor on but after a couple of power ups it stops working.
the same happens with VNC (remote desktop util) mouse movements or key presses
any toughts?

you could try some of the monitor commands from the lua windows/systems function plugins...
