Not a smart idea. Way to vunerable to hackers.

I'm not sure, Jay completely overhauled the plugin that I wrote so it might be possible. MIND: a high portnumber does not protect you. Hackers will use a portscanner and thus find that open port as well. Another thing is the password thats good, BUT the plugin has no delay between password tries so a brute force attack is possible....

Just a word to the wise.

Is it possible to make the TCP/IP server allow connections from any IP address? So I can run a server to allow me to perform tasks anywhere on the Internet?

I know but I would be running it on a high port number and it would still have a password, running on quiet mode as well. I'm not concerned about the security quite yet, I just wanted to know if I could use 0.0.0.0 or *.*.*.* for IP access rules.

I understand the risk & port number issue, I guess I am willing to take it.

Could I get in touch with Jay to make this work? Does it need to be modified or is there a way to do it?
