View Full Version : Powerlinc USB 'Not Found' status

I am just starting with Girder and have loaded the USB-UIRT and Powerlinc USB plugins.
The USB-UIRT appears to be working but simple on/off X-10 commands do nothing through the Powerlinc interface.
In the settings menu for the Powerlinc USB I show a status of 'Not Found' although this device is working properly with Smarthome Manager.
Any ideas on how to get Girder to speak with this device????

What's the model number? I wonder if they have a new device id.

I see that the original poster did not reply yet, but I am having the same problem. My model number is 1132CU and it looks like the version is 5.13
The symptoms that I am having are the same, it works fine in the SmartHome manager, but it shows up as "Not Found" in the status of the plugin.
I just received the controller yesterday.
Thanks for the help.

This is a slightly different model number than mine (mine doesn't have the C). Is this the standalone version?
It may be that it just has a different HID id. Can you try downloading the HID plugin and see what the id is in the settings dialog? Hopefully, it's just a matter of looking for another id.

Thanks for the quick response.
The information from HID Remote is:
Vendor Name: SmartHome
Vendor ID: 4287
Product ID:2
Product Name: SmartHome PowerLinc Controller
If might be because this model has the onboard memory that it is different.
Hope this helps.

It looks like this one has a different product id. I just uploaded a new version that checks for this too (version 1.1). Can you give this a try and let me know if that works?

Worked Perfect :D
Thank you very much for your help, and it looks like a great plugin! It was actually the reason that I bought the PowerLinc.
