Hi Rick,
Yup, the Slink-e will replace your Irman. It supports IR Receive, IR Transmit, and X10 Receive/Transmit.
I'm using it with a Pronto to run my entire HT/HTPC setup including DScaler, TheaterTek DVD, CDJ (Slink-e jukebox app) as well as video input mode switching, lighting and curtain control, etc. The setup works so well that I (almost) never need to pick up the HTPC keyboard to do anything other than SW install or maintenance
I originally bought the Slink-e only for its IR RX/TX capabilities. But it worked so well that I ended up buying a couple of 400 disk Sony CD MegaChangers. The Slink-e does a wonderful job of cataloging ALL of the disks, retrieving disk info off of the CDDB creating custom playlists, etc.
In short, it's a near perfect match for Girder's tremendous functionality--I highly recommend it!
Good luck -- Steve
