hi,

iŽd like to use itunes instead of jrmc. right now i use a ccf/lua which is based on danwards & jlees ccf.

can i do the same things with itunes as with jrmc? (like showing albumcovers, playlists. track-infos, visualizations etc.)
do i have to change the programming therefore?
if yes, is there a doc for that? (at least a list of commands)

Yes, you can use iTunes and have (more or less, e.g. no zones) the same functionality as with JRMC and without changing the programming in the CCF. You need to use the MediaBridge for that.

See this thread http://www.promixis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9927 for a first release of the doc.

It does not explain yet the fields available and the details of programming but it should get you started with the installation/connection issues.

thx ebariaux. that looks easy.

maybe the developers can give a hint on programming differences with itunes. ;-)

Main difference, the iTunes API is a POS!

It offer's no where near the level of functionality of JRMC or WMP.

Most of the fields will work similar to JRMC. We will document more as time passes (Eric!)
