:P In Luadvd, I did not integrate the selection by filter, this part is bug?

I use Girder (Time Server) to send towards NetRemote, the temp gauges images and the temp graphs. All the images and graphs are built each minute by this software "Lämpömittari" ( http://www.elektroniikka.org/thermometer/?page=mainpage ) which reads my sensors Dallas.

There are a couple of minor bugs in the filter support, but nothing too serious.

This has to be the nicest CCF I've seen so far. If only I had a 640x480 unit :cry:
Very well done.

Maybe you don't have the last version (3.11). I included my GML file for Girder. I use "CM11/CM12 X10 Driver" plugin. The CM11 is a two-way X-10 computer interface. You can find it at Smarthome or in Europe at http://www.intellihome.be/english/categories.asp?cat=2. I believe that there are products a little more advanced like the CM15 ( http://www.promixis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9525&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=cm15 ).
Bythe way, how did you buy usbuirt ??

That will be probably something to do with the girder link not running or some girder side scripts missing / not running.

I had some problems with the LUA file. I have to find an error in this file now, all it's Ok. I uploaded a new version.

Do I put both marcelutilsdriver.ccf and marcelutilsdriver.lua in the ppc NetRemote dir? Together with the arbujl3.ccf and .lua?
Rob H
January 20th, 2005, 03:19 PM
Neither. You only want the drv_marcelsutil.dll in the NR plugins directory
2re
January 20th, 2005, 03:28 PM
And put the .dll in the ppc NetRemote dir?
Rob H
January 20th, 2005, 03:32 PM
Not sure where it goes on a PPC, but it looks as though that's the correct place.

January 20th, 2005, 04:04 PM
I've put the .dll in the same dir as the .ccf and the .lua, but still got the error message...... :(
Rob H
January 20th, 2005, 04:11 PM
I'll have to leave this to either Jean-Louis or Marcel as I don't use either a PPC or Jean-Louis's CCF.

OK. Thank's for your time anyway Rob!
danward79
January 20th, 2005, 10:40 PM
You must put the dll in the NR ppc plugin directory under program files
2re
January 20th, 2005, 10:57 PM
Done that now, and a soft reset on the ppc. Also running Girder and MC, but still got the error message......

Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
Here is the NetRemote configuration that I use.
NetRemote Configuration
- AvidUtils -> Instance(-1014)
- Girder -> Instance(-1) AND -> Instance(-1000)
- Infrared -> Instance(-3)
- MarcelUtils -> Instance(-3014)
- MediaBridge -> Instance(-10)
- WakeOnLan -> Instance(-4)
-WebBrowser -> Instance(-2)
- Zoom -> Instance(-1018)
To display the CCF correctly, it is necessary to configure the PPC screen in landscape.
I hope that this information will solve your problem.

Thank's Jean-Louis, but I'm not able to reach the plugins/properties on the ppc as long as the error message is showing up all the time
arbujl
January 21st, 2005, 12:00 AM
To be able to reach the plugins/properties, you open the PPC registry. Suppress "OpenedFile" value.
When you will launch NetRemote again, it will ask you "No CCF file specified", introduce the path to open another CCF. Configure the different plugins correctly before taking arbujl31.ccf. Be careful to the screen orientation.

...or you should find that just temporarily renaming the lua file will avoid the read error.

Soon. I've also been adding support for a proxy player, ie you run LDJ on a media server but also have another copy of the Girder on an HTPC which itself plays the media. It's mostly there, but currently it ties one netremote client to one player rather than the possiblity of one client that could play on any of a number of HTPCs. I'm not sure how important that would be though.
I'll try to get it done this weekend.

Not as far as I know, but I agree. It's a beautiful looking interface that would be -great- in English!

arbujl312.zip seemed to be an interesting ccf and so I thought I would try to make it work and use a working ccf as a starting place to customise.
I see the last post was two years ago.
I downloaded the ccf. Unzipped and used NR to open ccf. .lua is beside as unzipped.
It didn't work so I read this thread.
Then I downloaded marcelutils and put the win32 version in the NR plug-in directory.
I see drv_marcelutils.dll there. I also see drv_avidutils.dll.
Run NR,
Now I get the error: "The specified module could not be found c:\program files\promixis\netremote\plugins\drvmarcelutils.dl l"
It IS there, so something else must be wrong. NR runs and I get the main screen which says "pas de connexion".
NR is running on XP MCE. I have NR Default host pointing to Vista running Girder.
When I look in NR settings-plug-in and compare with what the forum says should be there, I see
Have no AvidUtils
Do have advanced controls
Have flash player
Generic
Have one girder instance
Have no MarcelUtils
Have media bridge
Have wake on lan
Have web browser
Have Zoom
I am using NR 2.0.4.127
and arbujl312.zip
and "the latest MarcelUtilsDriver (NR >=2.0.0.74 )" from http://home.vianetworks.nl/users/mhwlng/ dates 4 Aug 2007.
Questions
________
Can I put the ccf folder anywhere and just open it?
Should MarcelUtils show up as plugin without an instance without doing anything else (like opening it)?
Does Girder have to have any GML file or configuration or does it just run pass thru?
Is "No connection" a consequence of no dll or does Girder need more configuration or ?
Is this a version problem? Jean-Louis code does not run on NR2?
Should I start with a different ccf for 480 x 640?
Any suggestions?

for the latest NR, the correct marcelutils is here

Thanks Marcel.
Before I got your post, I found another that said Microsoft wifi dll was needed. So I downloaded and installed
WindowsXP-KB918997-v6-x86-ENU.exe
then I got NR error saying
'This plugin is to old to use with this version of NR..'
Then I read your post and downloaded drv_marcelutils.zip copying it to plugins dir.
Now when I run NR, I get a Windows exception
AppName: netremote.exe AppVer: 2.0.4.127 ModName: drv_marcelutils.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000076f6
Have I messed up by installing WindowsXP-KB918997-v6-x86-ENU.exe?

Sorry I did an accidental thread jump. With Marcels help I got the correct version of his utilities and It shows up as an instance.
Now I have the problem with AvidUtils. They dont show either on NR-setting-plugins. I went to Avid site and downloaded his latest dll created 17 July 2008 and tried that. Got message that it was too old.
Put back the one that came with NR. It says created 24 Jul 2008, Modified 3 July 2008. (I dont understand zipped dates?)
Now NR starts silently with arbujl but no Avid on instances list. Home page has lots of yellow Titres on it like text isn't working. Also no connection. I can navigate only to the Power and Lights pages.
Do I have a version problem with avidUtils? If I use Avid site utils, they are too old. If I use the ones that came with NR they are no show on NR-setting-plugins.
I presume it is not a dependency problem, else I would see 'cant find drv_avidutils.dll'
Running NR on XP MCE.
Help!!

..later..
I am running arbujl on NR and clicking on what I know to be TV OFF button, although it is labelled 'New'.
In NRDesigner, I see that two actions are attached, one to send TV.Power.On to Girder and the other to save the power 'on' state in a NR variable.
I look in (UnnamedGML) on Girder and see that it captures this event and maps to a PowerOn IR code for USBUIRT.
When I click on the button in arbujl, I see a 'Communication Server' 'TV.Power.Off' message arriving in the log. So arbujl is communication to some degree with girder although its display says 'Pas de connection'.
Am I at the point where it is nearly working, but it needs avidUtil and for some reason it won't load it??
NR on XP MCE SP2
