Hello,

I gave my first try to girder this evening and I don't know what went wrong.

I red through the help manual and started working.

1) I created a group
2) created a command to launch my favourite zoomplayer
3) created events
everything fine so far
4) created Window / Set focus action and drag'n'dropped target to zoomplayer
5) pressed F5 and status window says "Cannot find window"?

What am I doing wrong? (a made the same exercise with notepad, it worked??)

6) next step for me would be to send Alt+Enter to ZP in order to maximize the window, which action I can use to do this?
7) when do I need to use event.exe?

I got the 5/6 working after exporting gml file from ZoomPlayer and activation SendMessage plugin :)

Number 7 still need some clarification :)

7 is for an external program to send events to girder.

Read the "Girder in the Real World" I think it explains this well.

I use desktop shortcuts on my Girder PC as an Event to trigger X10 commands!

Specifically, I double-click a desktop shortcut, that triggers the Girder event.exe, which is the trigger for an X10 multigroup, which sends several X10 commands through the Ocelot plugin!

Hope this helps!
