hi guys!
I understand by now that the ir for rx-3715 dosent work and maybe will in the future. for now i have borrowed my dads pocket loox 600 (i hope he forgets i borrowed it :D ) and want to use it with NR for testing IR. i build a ccf and for some reason i cant get the hard buttons to respond to anything in my ccf.if i leave the default button settings (like i did with my rx-3715) then it opens up the to do and calander app (etc...) when im in NR. i tried changeing the button defaults to none in the ppc button managerof the loox but then it just stops to respond. does anyone know of a problem with loox 600 and NR?
thx alot again guys!!

I have used that PPC for more than two and a half years and I have never had that kind of a problem with it. But if you're using it for IR you'll be dissappointed. The range is lousy, and the IR port is on the side!

thx for the answer Mastiff :D
yeah ive notice that the rangle is lousy and the it is at the side LOL but for now its either this or the rx-3175 (which dosent work with IR  ) , i dont have another pda to try :) so it will have to do untill i get a uirt-usb thing in the future.. i tried everything (even things without IR like jumo to panels dont work with the hard buttons), i wonder if there is a special setting in the loox i need to use, its a fresh installl (i.e after a hard reset) do i need to define something there?
thx again

Um... you have been into File|Properties|Hot Keys and set the buttons up haven't you?

mmm you mean in the tonto ccf? i did arrange all the hard buttons in tonto>devices>tv>properties if thats what you mean.in order to test it with my 3715 i did a non IR command (jump to panel). it worked well in my 3715 but not in my loox, the buttons just lead me to the default app (to do in this case) or if i set it in the ppc setting to none it just dosent respond. i cant figure out why.... :-?
thx alot again

No, I mean in NetRemote. You have to map the PPC's buttons to NR's internal hard buttons.
