Is it possible to send a string of RS-232 commands from NetRemote buttons to the serial port on a GC100?

Yes, it is possible through the generic plugin.
I did a quick search on the forum and did not find back the post I remembered explaining how this works.

For the moment, it's also not in the doc but this will definitively go on the todo list.

Is there any documentation or examples available out there? The NetRemote and GlobalCache combo is a pretty good system, but the documentation is extremely poor.
