Today I messed a bit with the playlist setup (register demonstration, as the gxr is called) and finally got something decent out of it. Turned out that it was the display function that messed it up for me. In other words, try to turn off the command named Display in the group INS. I believe it stays there too long and stops Girder from receiving remote commands when it's there.
