Default Why are NetRemote CCFs so slow?

I have the trial of netremote working great, communication over wifi is excellent. The only problem I have is the client interface files.

It seems to take about 1 second to change panels (ie, go from home > queue) no matter which skin I use.

I'm using a 480x640 PPC, 128MBRam, Intel PXA272 520 MHz CPU. Should it be this slow? and is there anything I can do to speed up the interface?

What interface file are you using? No, it shouldn't be that slow.

Using the default interface 480x640. It's the same with every single CCF I try. Button and panel changes are slooowww.

What if you run the same CCF on Win32?

While not being instant, it's a hell of alot faster.

Are all of the actions "slow" as well, or just jumps?

The actual functions (ie, playing, pausing, skipping etc) are fine. It's just the graphical side of things like switching panels and having frames pop up. Also when I press a button I'll press it and they'll be a long delay before the buttons 'over' state appears, the actual button function works straight away though. Stuff like that. It just makes the whole interface feel clunky.

You are sure that the CCF is 480x640? I can imagine that it would be slow if it was scaling the graphics.
