    Default NRD Generated Events

    1) Create a macro in Girder 4
    2) Assign an event string to it
    3) Using NRD, create a button and drag the action for the macro to the action list

NRD creates its own event and causes Girder to do the same, it doesn't use the existing event string. In fact NRD doesn't seem to know about any of the event strings that are assigned in Girder 4.

G4 B8 and B9 (not tried the new comserver yet)

Further to that - if you create an action (Send event to Girder on button up) and type an event string into the box, Girder doesn't see the event at all.

Interesting. I'll need to talk to Ron about this. G4 does not currently send updates real-time, NRD only fetches when it starts up.

When you say "Girder doesn't see the event at all" you mean when you send it to G4, or when you create the CCF?

I mean when I send it to G4 - nothing appears in the logger
