    Default Error exiting Beta 14

    Ron,

Sometimes when I shut down my computer I get the following error as Girder tries to close:
Error: Access violation at 0x7C918FEA (tried to write to 0x00000010), program terminated.
I can consistently recreate the problem by running the example that Father of Monster Magnet posted here http://www.promixis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13037 but I sometimes get the error even when I don't have that example loaded.

    Can you help?

    Chris

By the way -- this error doesn't generate any log reports. Once you click "OK" the error goes away and the computer shuts down.

    Confirmed.

Happens when i shutdown or restart my computer.

Same when using as global object or when release the object.

After javascript can't really set an object to nothing, i tried vbscript.

    Same error.

Can somebody try this with MS Access ?

    False alert !

It's not the com object !

Get this message when Girder is set to autostart, then just shutdown computer. (nothing triggered)

I am investigating a shutdown bug, might be related.

    Hi,

Not sure if it's related, but I was getting these Access Violation errors as well everytime I reset the LUA scripting engine or exited Girder.

    Plugins enabled:
    - CommServer
    - SendMessage
    - TaskCreate
    - UIR/IRman

Once I disabled the CommServer plugin I stopped having this problem.

What was the error message? Are you using NetRemote too? Several Girder instances? What beta?

After a reboot, the errors are back when I reset the LUA scripting engine or exit girder, and occur consistently even without CommServer running.

I'm using G4B14, only one instance of girder, no NetRemote with the following Plugins enabled:

    - SendMessage
    - Taskreate
    -UIR/IRman

Error: Access violation at 0x7E58B8D4 (tried to read from 0x01E8BCD0), program terminated.
