    Default Can this be done?

    OK, so I got myself a nice case for my MediaPC. It got the iMON VFD for which there seems to be a plugin now ( http://www.promixis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2486 ).

    So, is it possible to use girder to run an MP3 player (winamp?) and see what album is to be played (folder names?) on the VFD? So u don't need to turn the plasma TV on to only play a few songs...

    Any ideas?

    try that plugin and see if it works with your vfd.

    then you can use a girder program called lcd master which does all the screen updating on the lcd.

    OK, so if it can be done, I guess it's worth days I'll need to find out how to get any results with this ultra powerfull and complictaed tool that Girder is
