    Default scientific notation bug?

I've started the long process of converting my G3 scripts to G4... G4 is a welcome improvement over its predecessor and seems significantly more stable but there is one thing that is causing me difficulties:

Each time I enter a number such as 1e99, the script editor seems to be running into trouble. I get an error message when closing the editor dialog box, and girder slows to a crawl (although it is possible to continue to work or close everything... a good thing as the only way out is to close and restart G4). If I don't modify such script, everything works fine...

While on the subject of 'bugs' I also experienced a more serious one when some of my variable inspector/logger/console windows tookup some wierd sizes. The only way out I could find at the time was to go in the registry and delete the corresponding entries (I've since find that there seems to be a way to fix this though a menu option...)

    'hoping this helps
