New Forum as you can clearly see.
I've updated the forum, if you find anything out of order let me know. Pretty slick this phpBB2. Thanks to the developers!

I notice the "notify me" is automatically checked.
The icons for developer/author/user don't show up.
I like the new look.

You can set the default for the "notify me" thing to off in your profile.

Really like the new forum system...
The only thing I'm missing, and I'm being a *real* bitch here, is the option of uploading files. Is it not available in phpBB 2.0.0, or did you choose to disable it out of fear of people sending in malicious files?
You could possibly limit the uploaded files to only .GMLs, but people can still probably create destructive .GML files.
The thing is, just the other day I wanted to start a new thread, reffering everyone to a new .GML file. I didn't want to send you [Ron] the .GML file for you to upload into one of Girder's pages because it's not intended to be there, just something DVDSpy related. And because of the lack of an upload file feature, I had to find some other free-webspace slack-job like Geocities :-? :x :-?
to do that.

Uploading is not available in phpbb 2.0 but it is available as a mod and I was thinking of adding this.

Thanks, Ron. I tried the Profile stuff (sorry for not looking there to begin with (doh!) ) about 2 minutes after posting before and at the time it wasn't working. Now that works fine and the icons show up and this is REALLY taking shape.
Great job!

Well mostly phpbb developers did a great job, its a huge improvement over the old phpbb. Did you see you can also get a notifier email of private messages!! Pretty cool, I even helped fix a bug yesterday a few hours after the release. Now for a little graphics work.

Can we also have the 'back to girder page link' (or similar) reinstated because it's annoying having to edit the url to get out of the forums!
Thankyou.
