The devices are in the list. They do work but not as groups just independant.

what are the links setup between the plc and the devices.

it would help to attach a screen shot of the plc link database and each device database.

    ok, now to clarify.

2 switchlincs. do you want to control them as a group from girder or do you want to have each reflect the state of the other switch... ie if you change one the other one updates?

I want to controll them as 1. I would liek the dim state to show on both switches, right now it only shows on the Primary Master one but not on the secondary one. I have tried everything and the secondary does not show it. If I maually touch the switch on any of the 2 switches they both reflect the changes.

goto the group manager, select the PLC device.

chose the group number you want to assign. I would use 2 or > not 1

next, goto add in the bottom right hand corner. you will need to add both the switchlinc's. this will take about a minute.

next, goto the action tree and send the group command using the group number you created above.

    Mike,

I was reading a forum and found this. Would this apply to your plugin as well?

    Thanks.

Similar idea, both switches must be set by the plc. setting one does not set the other. That's why we are creating a PLC group which these 2 switches will belong to. Now we send group commands and both will change together

I finally got them to be grouped. How do I get them to be a certain level of brightness on a group? I don't see that option under Group Send.

You edit the group on levels when you create the group (or you can modify after the fact).

If you want to dim/bright the group then you can send these commands. You cannot tell a group to come on to a different level. If you need > 1 ON level, then just create a new group. note: this is an insteon protocol issue not a G4 issue.
