Makes me crazy

Some complaints about NR Designer:

1. I don't like it all that Designer imposes the Microsoft .NET crap on me- it slows down my PC and forces me to type in a password every time I start up my PC.

2. Tried to install NR Designer with my bought-and-upgraded- to-1.9 version of NR IR.
Msg said I had to upgrade NR itself. Everything stopped working.
After a lot of version swapping and opening NR manually together with NR Designer things seemed to work again (sort of).
But pcf to ccf did not work AT ALL, NR wouldn't even start with the newly created ccf file. As a matter of fact, the file size was a little different from the pcf, AFAI can tell no conversion took place, it went impossibly fast!

I feel you guys need to make these working and non working versions a bit more transparent, it makes me crazy!
Also, I feel that NR Designer is still quite buggy. From what I've read there's a non beta around, bit too early I'd say.

1. It forces you to enter a password? What does this have to do with .NET?

2. What message said you had to upgrade NR itself? After trying to change the file format to NRD 1.1 in the properties window?
Send me the PCF that will not convert.

I hope you can understand that in today's day and age we can't guarantee that our products will work 100% for everyone, as everyone has different setups. All we can do is take feedback when given and fix the issues people are having.

I'd have to know the other issues you're having concerning "it's still quite buggy".
