Girder channel change automatically without pressing enter, how?

Does anyone know how to change the remote control so that when i press channel up or down the channel changes by itself. Right now when i press channel up or down on remote i gotta press enter afterwards to change the channel. It's quite annoying to press a few buttons to get the channel to change. I am a noobie at this and i have no clue where to start looking.

I got my remote control to change TV channels, but each time I change the channel i gotta press enter so that the channel changes. How can i make it so that when i press channel up, the channel changes along with it so that i don't have to press enter afterwards.

What kind of hardware are you using?

I'm using adaptec PV 3610, it has dual tuner. I didn't realize that channel change was due to software. I just had to change the setting in beyondtv. Now my next problem is trying to press MY TV button the remote so that girder picks up the signal and opens up beyond TV when the program is not opened. I am not sure how to do that

THANKS!! You are a lifesaver. I have been trying to figure out this for past few days and now i finally got it working. I also got something else to ask is that, i don't see a shortcut button for FM RADIO for beyond TV. Is there a shortcut button or maybe i can make one? I want to hook up one of the buttons on my remote so that it opens up FM radio. I looked in help files and didn't see a shortcut button for it.
