Will upgrading to the new sendmessage plugin require "reworking" of any commands that are using 1.0?

If you want to use the new plugin sadly yes

There is a way around this however, i chose a new plugin number for the new dll, so you can continue to use the old dll if you rename it! Thus rename the old sendmessage.dll to something like sendold.dll and you'll can use the old and the new dll side by side.

Btw, i've updated Sendmessage to 1.51,.. i've added a little more error checking. nothing to serious.

If I get the time, I'll update to the new plugin, and update the ATI exported groups.

I've taken the time to update the ATI exported groups if you're interested. They're available in seperate modules, as well as a combined group. The combined group is because these applications use the same SendMessage interface, and if you just loaded up all the modules you would have the problem of multiple commands being sent. Unless of course you added some commands to enable/disable groups when you switch between TV, DVD Player, and CD Audio Player.

I don't want to step on your toes, Naveed, so just let Ron know if you want him to use these as the updated export groups Anyways here they are...

All-in-one Group: ATI Multimedia Center 7.0

    ATI TV Player 7.1

    ATI DVD Player 4.1

    ATI Audio CD Player 7.0

Let me know what you guys think, and if you find any bugs.

Now worries, mterlouw. I've been too busy fighting with the ATI 7.1 software to have a chance to do any updates. BTW- Are you running Win2K, and a Radeon AIW? If so, did you have to do anything special o get your DVD sofware to work correctly?

I'm running WindowsME, and I have a ATI All-in-Wonder 128 (Rage) 16Mb AGPx2. Their drivers always suck. The release I have now works pretty good, I guess, except theres no drivers for video capture, and the VCD player refuses to play VCD2.0 disks I'd be disappointed if I didn't get the card for so cheap; let it be known I'll never buy another ATI because of their poor driver support.
