Default Fatal application error on Ipaq 3970

I'm trying to run netremote 2.0.0.99 on my Ipaq 3970 (PPC 2002).
But everytime I'm trying to start the client program on the PDA, I'm getting a Fatal application error:

"Application netremote.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists..."
    Exception 0xc0000005
    Address 0159080c

    Any suggestions, Thanks!

Try the newer version (sticky here: http://www.promixis.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17302) and let me know if that helps.

    Best,

Today I tried with the newer version of the netremote Suite 2.0.0.104 and i still have the exact same error message...
Mediabridge detects the device, which is good.

Try clearing out the plug-ins folder from the NetRemote installation directory on your PDA (move them to another folder). If NetRemote boots up successfully, you can start pulling plug-ins back one by one until you discover which one is tripping you up.

    Progress!
All DLL's are working except for drv_webbrowser.dll
The client is operational now and communicating with the server, although quite slowly...

    thanks for the advice!

Finally I upgraded to Pocket PC 2003 and used ActiveSync 4.5 and it helped.
    No more errors!
    Thanks for the help,

    Sam
