    Default PLM - no devices

Thank you for your quick reply and for all your hard work building this component.

I did as you asked and got the same results. I am attaching the log files from the Logs\InsteonC folder. If there are others you need, just let me know.

    Thanks again,

I swithched from the "insteon plugin" to the new PLM component. So far so good. Seems to work.
Maybe I am doing something wrong but is it not possible to "DIM" the lights as it was with the other plugin?
I only can set a certain percentage but it would be nice to be able to set the lights for example from 100% to 50% and the lights dim slowly and not abrupt as it is doing now.

Am I missing something or is it not possible so far?

    Thanks
    Michael

use the Device Manager to select the device - you can dim to a level or dim relative. use the Insteon Send All Link commands to dim a group of lights (or just a single one)

Thank you so much for your response and assistance.

I renamed CommunicationManager.lua to CommunicationManager_old.lua and inserted the new CommunicationManager.lua you posted. This was in the luascript\Components\Insteon dir. There was no InsteonC dir there. I hope that is right.

I now have a whole new set of errors, starting with: ...ents\Insteon\Devices\DeviceDevCat03SubCat05Loca l.lua:62: assertion failed! So, I did as directed before, deleting the log and configuration files and re-added my PLM. I am attaching the logs.

Thank you again. I look forward to getting this working.

being that this thread is 43 pages long (!)... is there a summary of any updates/tips/etc -- FAQ?

I just got a 2414U and want to set it up so I can start using Insteon.... but the plug-in is not seeing the 2414U I have? (when using the old smarthome manager - it saw it fine)

    thanks guys!
