Default girder.exe - Unable to Locate Component

Started to receive a strange error message when I open Girder 5.

When the application is opening an error box with the following comes up:

"girder.exe - Unable to Locate Component

This application has failed to start because Lua.dll was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

The strange part about this message is after I clicked OK to a knowledge it Girder works as though everything is fine. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

I've tried reinstalling the software several times but that doesn't seem to get rid of the problem.

    Thanks!

IT appears you installed an old Girder 3 plugin. If you don't remember what that was remove all plugins ( dll files ) from the plugin directory and start putting them back one by one, starting and stopping Girder each time until you see the error again. The last file added is the offending plugin.

Thanks for the quick reply. I moved all the .dll files from the Girder 5/plugins directory to a temporary file location and I still get this error. Any other thoughts on what could be causing this?

Delete the whole Girder directory and install again, make _very_ sure you are running the girder executable from the new install...

    Thank you!

    That fixed it.
