IR Reciver at seriel port

Hallo,

after spending many hours searching the internet without any succes I hope that someone can help me.
I have connected an infrared receiver via the seriel port to the computer. When using winLirc in the raw mode I can see that the commands from my remote control are received by the PC. Unfortunetaley Girder does not seem to recognise these commands. In the logging window I can not see any events which might show that an infrared command is received.
When searching the internet I find many references to a so called igor plug in. This plug in is very old and is not working on windows 7 64 bit...
Can anybody help with a hint how I can get that receiver running with girder 5? Which plug in could I use? I also did not find any possibility where I could set an infrared receiver to s specific com port (for example COM port 1).
Since I really do not know anymore where else I could get any help I would be very grateful if someone could help!!
