    Strange.

    What CPU are you using?

Can you remove all the plugin from the plugin directory and try again.

Removed everything from plugin folder - didn't help, crashes with the same message.

    Exclamation

C'mon. Reinstalled win7 again. Same crap - won't start, crashes with the same error.
Windows are completely "fresh": installed windows, drivers, winrar, acronis true image home and after that girder. No go. $150 down the drain? :/
    Help please.

Edit: Installed win7 and Girder on VirtualBox and it works. wtf..? How can it work on same windows in guest machine and not on host (normal).

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but- Did you install & try starting Girder as Administrator? Just wondering if this is a UAC thing...

Off course. I have UAC turned off.

Did you update a driver or did windows do any automatic updates? reason I ask is if you reinstalled windows Im sure you used the latest drivers and maybe one of them is an issue. As for it working in a virtual machine, they dont use real drivers to access your hardware so that would account for it working in there and not in the host.

    Just an idea,

Maybe reinstall and use old versions of nic, video and sound drivers?

If you have DEP enabled, try turning it off.

Just to clarify, you can do this from Control Panel|System then choose Advanced System Settings on the right. In the Performance group press the Settings... button and go to the Data Execution Prevention tab.

Either make sure that DEP is only on for essential windows programs and services or add an exception for Girder.

I have DEP by default on "essential windows programs and services only". I tried changing to "for all programs" and added Girder as exception - no go.

As for windows drivers: windows did all of them on install. I manually installed newest drivers for:
    chipset (gigabyte v.9.1.1.1020)
    lan (Realtek LAN Driver v.7.011.1127.2009)
    video (nvidia v.197.45)
    that's it.

Should I try reinstalling win7 again and trying install/run girder straight away, without windows update and driver install? I mean, I need newest drivers and windows update anyway, so even if it works, it won't be a solution? Well, maybe only for finding the culprit.
