UPnP and Girder

I installed the gateway and hub as well as the Girder plugin. The gateway found my HDHomeRun but not my Grace Digital Tuner. Below is the screen from the gateway as well as the screen from the UPnP Inspector I have been using to see Actions like GetPlaybackDetails.

Does the device show up in the UPnP spy utility? You can get it here; http://opentools.homeip.net/dev-tools-for-upnp

Nope... Harleydude and I tried and found it doesn't show up with those utilities but it does show up up with UPnP inspector. It is based off Recivia which is pretty popular.

Appears there is some incompatibility between the UPnP stacks used. I tried to have a look at the UPnP inspector, but it failed to run on my Ubuntu system.

So can you do the following;

1. use Coherence UPnP Inspector, and get the device description, and the underlying service descriptions (they are all xml files), the tool probably provides a way to get to them.
2. using the UPnP Device Spy, start it, then in the Help menu, select 'Show debug information' and in the debug window. Select all 4 colored buttons. and look for errors there. Best if you would disable all UPnP devices on the network, then first start UPnP Spy, and then the appliance, to make sure the device spy is logging when the device is initially discovered (and probably fails with an error).

Looked up the UPnP memberlist; Reciva is a basic member, but I couldn't find any certified devices by that company. Does the device carry a DLNA or UPnP logo, as such that it is certified?

Appears the error is not within the device description xml, but in the underlying service xml. Can you post the description xml of the "RenderingControl:1" of the device?
(the device xml was in the database, but the service xml's are not)
