Independent Channels or Multiple UIRT2's
Is there a way to get 2 independent channels out fo the UIRT2 or a way to add a second one to a second comport in Girder?
I need to control more than one television monitor of the same make and model.
It looks to me like the "A" version has the emitters in series. The "B" version has 4 independent ports? Is this correct????
Thanks,
Mike

the UIRT2A and UIRT2B is nearly the same - both have outputs and the emitter-jacks (have a lock at http://users.skynet.be/sky50985/uirt2a_schem.pdf and http://users.skynet.be/sky50985/uirt2b_schem.pdf)
i would take a UIRT2B, get 2 extra emitter-leds (or ask when order it) - take one output-port to enable one led-emitter-pair and another output-port for the second led-emitter-pair. tape both emitter pairs directly in front of the receivers of your television (so that each tv sees only one emiter-pair) and use the output-ports for enabling the different emiiter-pairs.
should work with nearly all transistors for enabling the emitters.
