    Does anyone know how much current the UIRT2B is taking during STANDBY ?

    Sorry for the late reply, I've been extremely busy.

    Current consumption is only a few mA during standby or even operating.
    The big difference is when transmitting IR, continous IR transmission will take approx. 50 mA average.
