Can I control a mp3 player in a dos box?

I have a dos based mp3 player. It is inside a dos box in windows 95
Can I use girder with this?

    apparently yes:

    http://www.girder.nl/features.php

    compatible with windows95

now for the command windows... I guess yes if you can direct keys to it to PLAY/PAUSE, etc.

If this MP3 player plays only with the mouse, then I doubt it.

But I never tried DOS based program with girder, I'm just assuming.

    hope this helps.

Eh...is there a good reason to use an MP3 player in a DOS box? I can understand why you would use a pure dos MP3 player, for instance in a car system to get rid of the start up time. But why not just get WinAmp or something? There's a bunch of small, CPU-light players out there if that's your problem. 8)
