Default Problem with Girder and WinTV-PlugIn

    Hi!

I have got a huge problem with Girder 2.3.9 and the WinTV-PlugIn from this download-site...

The WinTV Premio (PCI) card is correctly installed. Also Girder and the plugIn. But by starting Girder I get the following error message:

    Winfast 2000 Girder PlugIn Error
This function requires a video capture device based on the Brooktree (conexant) BT848 [...] chip. None could be found. Are you sure you have one?
Does anyone know what that means? I have no idea what could be wrong...

    Thanks for help!

Is your card an "Primio" or "FM"?

Perhaps that's the reason?! My card is a "Primio"...

    Ok, I've got the solution!

I just had to install the "winfast 2000 xp"-plugin, too...

Do you have to use "winfast 2000 xp" and WINTV plugin at the same time to make it find the card?

My card is a WINTV-radio by the way.

Tried the workaround to edit the irremote.ini to generate keystrokes that girder could detect with the keyboard-plugin. But i only get the code 00000000 on all buttons on the remote.

So now i send the keystrokes directly to Zoom player and wait for some better working girderplugin for WINTV cards to appear.

I have tried the same thing for an hour now, and I'm about to trash the IR part and just use the card. I've got the Hauppauge WinTV Primio TV+FM, which I know is based on the 878 chip. So why the #&%#€" won't it work? :x

Also I have tried to install the tweaked 878 drivers, but can't get anywhere! Grrrr....

    @handyman1000

Can you tell me the DeviceID of you card?

I have expand the DeviceID search. (DeviceID 0x0369, DeviceID 0x036C)

Perhaps the plugin will find your card now.

Could i send you the new plugin to test it?

I have the same error with the 2.0 version of plugin, but it doesn't happen always, just once or twice a day... The old 1.0a worked perfectly, but i've deleted it :-?
I also have some problems with my system randomly reseting while watching tv usually, but I'm not sure if this is girder related, or just some gremlins in my system...
