I have noticed that Girder supports more remotes that those that are listed on the features page. I would suggest you try some of the listed plugins with varying parameters and it might just work!
If so let me know so i can put that up.
Kind regards,
Ron

Finally I managed to use Girder with PB remote, I used WinLirc combined with Grider WinLirc plugin. Now I'm exploring it's features

Hi all,
this is my first post here so i would like to thank the Author & the plugins creators for this great program...
I first D/L Girder 5 days ago so I'm still a newbee regardin Girder but i can share my experience with the Packard Bell Fast Media Remote:
1. D/L Girder & extract to your desired location
2. D/L Igor SFH56-device v0.99 (latest as of today), unzip to PluginsHardware
3. Close & ReOpen Girder, goto File-> Settings-> Hardware PlugIns, now check the Igor plugin checkbox & press the Settings button on the left. now you need 2 things:
First, select Com Port (Com1, Com2...)
Second, Change "Input Signal" to "DCD"
4. Good Luck...
I hope it help all of those new PB FastMedia users floating around here
Cheers

It is also a good idea to reduce the priority level of the plugin (settings of Igor's plugin -> advanced) to 6. Windows XP will crash after a while if it is set at 7. May or may not affect other versions of Windows.
