I searched the archives and found a couple of posts but nothing is definitive. Is the IR receiver that comes with the airboard (PC concepts) able to "teach" girder the necessary hotkeys or whatever to execute commands? I would have though for certain that this combo would function well together. For example, if i use the keyboard plug-in and use F2 as a shortcut to launch WinDVD and simultaneously play a DVD, i would hope that Girder would readily be able to execute that command..., i could then teach my programable remote this same F2 key and would then have the flexibility of using either my remote or keyboard to run my applications. If incompatibility is the case, would the Girder developpers consider (Ron) making these devices compatible with each other.

    Say it aint so!

I could not get it to work wth Girder so I bought an IRman receiver for Girder activities but leave the Arboard receiver in for keyboard and to be able to remotely turn on the PC through a keoard BIOS setting.

I wsh I could figure out out how o dump theAirboard receiver. Playing with the Keyoard EX plugin in now (regular keyboard lugin didn't do it). Would appreciate pointers.

    Serge and Tim,

Please check out my beta Airboard GML over in the AVS forum HTPC section, under "MyHD users...Here is a Pronto/Girder/IRMan combo for you" thread. If it works out, I will post a final version both here and at AVS. This was too easy...I must be doing something wrong
