Integrated channel surfing and control...
Thanks to Ben and Stewart for the large size custome CCFs. Below is an example of what I am working on for controlling my DTV PVR.
Now all I need is USB UIRT pass through, LDJ with new feedback and multiple image support, large (choice of) fonts in the MediaCenter control, and image support in MediaCenter driver.... <EBG>

You guys are great, hope this gives someone some ideas. -Carl
PS - if anyone is a good grahic artist, I really could use a much better record button that fits in with the style I have cuz mine sucks.

Arron - I will share everything I have done so far. This is a relaxing hobby for me.
My CCF is quite large (one of the reasons I want to use NetRemote ranther than Pronto) so posting it on Ben's site is difficult... and email is out of the question....
Don't really know of a good solution...
Wait for a little while, and I should have a kicking CCF with DVD Jukebox, MP3 Jukebox, DirecTV (example above) and X-10 all integrated and working with the USB UIRT....
Cheers -Carl

I cannot wait to see it!!!
I will definitely be holding my breath for it cuz it looks like you have much the same system as I do (Ultimate TV, Xbox, X-10, etc)
What resolution are you doing it in?

I'm using 800X600 and 256 colors... My current laptop is set at 1024X768 but hitting the "fullscreen" button on the INI bar and it makes it BIG and useable...
Icons seem to look OK, but I don't have the originals and can't really take the time to get them all to the proper size...

Carl... any progress?
The UIRT support is almost ready and I want to start working on my skin... I will use yours as a model when you are ready to release it.
what's the skinny?

QuickCarl,
How did you get the ccf to be so big (screen size). I thought ccf's were restricted to a small resolution.
thanks,
Dan

Using Tonto, make sure you are creating a CUSTOM ccf. (New with Type -> Custom).
Now go to system properties in the tree. It will show the width and height as 240 and 320. These are editable, however. Change them to 800x600 and you're good to go.
Good luck!

Very nice! Thanks. I don't have a display that can handle 800x600 other than my desktop pc. But I will try and create some cool ccf's.

Dan,
I am using an older generation touchpad pc with great results. NR really uses minimal resources. I am confident (but do not guarantee
) that NR would run on a lower powered, sub-$300 touchpad.
[Sidenote]I think my next iteration will be with a touch panel monitor, though. That way you don't have to wait for the machine to "power up". It will just jump right into NR.[/Sidenote]
