NR crashes when problem with skin! Cannot work around...

If there is any problem with the skin NR was last told to use, it crashes.

Examples:

1) make the display in the INI '640x480' - notice the x does not beloge there

2) change the skin directory name or remove the skin from the dir.

Yep - I have got caught by this. If the skin is corrupt on the PPC, NR goes mad on loading, and because of this, you can't change the skin. If you have NR set to run at startup - this can be a real pain.

(My solution is to activesync the half dead PPC - coz NR is hoggin all the RAM, and rename the corrupt CCF. Then reboot)

This does not always work...

Here's the steps to repro the problem...

1) Load the default skin
2) Load any custom CCF
3) Go to load a different INI... but CANCEL and do not load.
- result, NR crashes
- result, NR crashes upon loading ANY CCF there after.

I must uninstall and reinstall NR each time this happens.

Aaron, can you verify that "Use Skin with Custom" isn't checked? This is something another user found, and was surprised that it was checked.

I will verify that it handles an error with the skin appropriately, though. Thanks for the heads up.
