    Default Application initialization error

Almost bold from pulling my hair out....Had to restore my HTPC because of a disk crash. Things have changed since I last worked on HTPC project 6 months ago. First, couldn't find the webremote plugin to work with my old, but very stable version of Netremote and MediaJukebox. So upgraded to Media Center...then upgraded to Netremote .99 as the web i/f for media center must have changed from what the webremote plugin provided. Now I'm stuck with an initialization error "The application failed to initilize properly (0xc00000005)." on the Win32 version on my W2k machine. Deleted the registry entries and reinstalled. Still the same. Anyone seen this before and knows what to do? TIA. Martin

Is this with all .ccf's or with one specific ccf? The ccf file could be corrupt.

NetRemote generates a log file in the working directory. If you could send me that file, I could (possibly) tell you where it's breaking.

Figured it out - for some reason the mfc70.dll that I had downloaded from www.dll-files.com has a different file length than the one that the full install downloads. When I first installed this part of the full install failed, therefore I got the file directly from www.dll-files.com. Not sure why there is a difference in file sizes, I throught the mfc70.dll comes standard with VB or some other m$ prod?

    Great!

MFC70 is only used by applications compiled with the MFC in C++. I'm not sure if a version comes standard on the OS, but it may not be 7.0.

    Glad you got it working!
