    Default GlobalCache & Emmitters

    Those using a Global Cache:

    What emmitter and how wired?

The GC doc shows a 470 ohm resistor in series with an LED. The GC connectors seem to be perfectly set up for Xantech Emitters.

I have a couple of Xantech dual "mouse" emmitters... can I just plug these in, or do I need that 470 ohm resistor wired in with the Xantechs?

    Thanks,

    Danal

I direcly plugged Xantech emitters on the GC. Think others are doing the same around here.

By the way, I also e-mailed Global Cache tech support and received a reply:

It is ok to use a single or Dual Xantech mouse emitters with the GC-100. We have tested M282M – single and M284M – Dual Xantech emitters.

You do not need a resistor with the emitter(s).
Just for anyone else reading the forum...
