NetRemote on new VGA PPC / Dell X50v ????

Anybody using NetRemote on a new VGA res PPC ??

I was looking at the Dell X50v, but wonder if the std. resolution (current) PPC apps would look WORSE on the high rez screens, being that I suppose they are up-scaled ?

I don't know if this is what happens, but I would guess the effect may be similar to using an LCD desktop monitor at a lower-than-native resolution (image softening) ??

I guess some of the NetRemote and other PPC apps will eventually be revised to support the higher resolutions, but I wonder how complicated or how long that would take ??

I would like to get the new screen, but hate to have worse image quality while I wait / hope for newer software.

Any comments ??

Thanks for the thread - Looks complicated for my skill level.

Hopefully there may be some VGA .ccf's coming shortly. I really like Kieth Beer's media center only .CCF, but its "low" resolution. I may try to stretch it, but I'm sure it still won't look so good.
